Showlite are a well established (1992) events contractor and late last year they decided 2010 was going to be the year for a fresh marketing perspective. Our Client Strategy Director, Ross Halliday reviewed their brand proposition and Lion created a marketing plan for 2010 which included a new logo and a new website. The website has just gone live! The site includes a content managed area for event exhibitors to order items for their stand.

We designed and built this advertising special microsite for Haymarket’s Stuff.tv gadget website. The microsite special promotes one of Toshiba’s latest laptops, the A500. “The 3D navigator that obeys your every word.” Navigon is at the point of technology in terms of state of the art satellite navigation. This LionDigital microsite shows off the incredible features of the Navigon 7310 device.

The 10th Anniversary of Stuff magazine was big news and Stuff hosted a party in town to celebrate. The party and the microsite we produced to support it was sponsored by Dell. The microsite gave readers the opportunity to vote for their favourite magazine front cover, fill in some market research questions relating to Dell and win some fabulous prizes.

We developed these Flash banners to promote Citibank’s iTunes reward scheme. They were deployed on some of the leading internet portals like Yahoo, Hotmail and MotleyFool. The design process for Flash banner always starts with a storyboard. That way our client gets a good understanding of how the animation will work and most importantly how the message will be communicated.

For the launch of the Asus N50, Stuff magazine collaboration with Asus brings us a microsite to discover the stylish new notebook. Along with a competition and a forum, the microsite offers a 360 view of the laptop and a video review. The microsite was developed in 5 languages and broadcasted in countries such as Spain, Germany and France.

PlayTV is all about fun and play.  For the latest addition to the Sony fun house, we were asked to design a microsite reflecting this playful spirit. The result: one of our favourites here at Lion.

“Any tune, any room, any time”.  Sony wanted to reach out to the What Hi-Fi? Sound and vision audience through a co-branded microsite.  LionDigital designed and built a simple solution that allows users to interact with the product through hotspots.

Fiona Macvicar is a talented Illustrator based in Wimbledon, South West London. A couple of years ago we built her a simple website which showcased her portfolio of children’s illustrations. She got in touch this week and sent us a CD with 13 brand new illustrations.

We’re proud to say that we look after everyone here at Lion. It’s not just the big brands that we take pride in working for but we also look after small businesses too. Take a look at some of her latest work, it certainly makes us smile.

Stuff.tv needed some banner advertising to drive visitors to their 2008 summer gadget guide. Barclaycard were offering free insurance to anyone who purchase gadgets using their card.

We were challenged by a quick turn around time and managed to produce a Leaderboard and MPU within 3 days of receipt of the brief. With a little animation and some slick creative we produced a set of banners that went down extremely well with the Stuff.tv team.

We’ve recently been heavily involved in a pretty strategic online campaign for Danone Actimel. They wanted to bring out a new flavour to add to their range of hugely popular probiotic yogurt drinks.

So being Britain’s favourite they decided to ask the nation in an online vote designed, built and managed by Lion.

Microsite

The first part of the campaign was a the voting microsite.

All of the 13,684 votes were stored in a database and people were given the opportunity to win a prize if they left their information behind. 10 lucky winners did this and won a years supply of Actimel.

Online Banner Advertising

To let people know about the vote we designed and built a series of Flash banners which were deployed on many of the leading internet advertising portals including Hotmail. The animation below was one of the banners that we created.

E-Newsletter

We gathered well over 6000 email addresses during the competition. We never send out email communications without first asking permission so all the competition entrants opted in to receive further news from Actimel. The competition was the first step in building a database of consumers to communicate to throughout the year. The actimel.co.uk website also features a subscribe page which integrates directly into ONE list. We designed and distributed the email below to firstly let the competition entrants know which new flavour would appear in the shops and also to announce the competition winners.
